HOW IT WORKS

Schedule a Free 15-Minute Screening

Book a complimentary screening through Headway. Sarah will give you a brief call to introduce herself, learn more about your needs, and help determine if this practice is the right fit for you.

Insurance & Coverage Review

We’ll verify your insurance through Headway and provide a clear breakdown of your mental health coverage. You’ll have the chance to review and approve everything before moving forward.

In-Depth Initial Appointment

Once everything is set, we’ll schedule a comprehensive initial session to explore your history, current concerns, and goals. This is your time to be heard—and the foundation for your personalized care plan.

SERVICESFinding the Right Balance, Together

Sometimes it’s not about talking it all out—it’s about finding the right support to help your mind feel calmer, clearer, and more in control. Medication can be a powerful tool when used thoughtfully, and my role is to guide you through that process with care, clarity, and compassion.

No pressure, no judgment—just evidence-based support tailored to you.

💊 Medication management may help with:

Stabilizing mood swings or irritability
Easing anxiety and quieting racing thoughts
Treat negative intrusive thoughts
Lifting the weight of depression
Improving focus and managing impulsivity

We’ll work together to find the right medication and dosage, with regular check-ins to monitor progress, manage side effects, and make adjustments as needed. Your input matters every step of the way—this is a true partnership in your care.

What We Offer

Medication

Medication management begins with a comprehensive assessment of your biological, psychological, and social history. With your input, we thoughtfully prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications to support your well-being and treatment goals.

Genetics Testing

If you’ve tried multiple medications without the results you hoped for, genetic testing can offer
valuable insight. This simple and convenient process helps identify how your body may respond to certain psychiatric medications—and it's often covered by insurance.

We Hear You

Medication is just one piece of the puzzle. Through supportive, solution-focused conversations, we take the time to understand your story, explore what’s working (and what’s not), and build a trusting relationship. These sessions offer a safe space to check in emotionally while we fine-tune your treatment plan—because your voice matters just as much as your symptoms.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during the first appointment?

Your first session is a deep dive into your history, current concerns, and goals. We’ll talk through your symptoms, past treatments, and life context to create a care plan that’s personalized and supportive.

How does billing through Headway work?

We partner with Headway to make using your insurance easy and transparent. They handle all billing and insurance claims, so you don’t have to worry about paperwork. You’ll be able to review your benefits, copays, and out-of-pocket costs upfront before your first appointment.

Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Yes! We know life is busy, so we offer flexible scheduling—including select evening and weekend hours.

What is genetic testing, and do I need it?

Genetic testing can help us understand how your body may respond to certain psychiatric medications. It’s especially useful if you’ve tried multiple medications without success. The process is simple—a cheek swab you can do at home—and often covered by insurance. We’ll talk about whether it makes sense for your care plan.
